One of the biggest Milwaukee festivals you’ve probably never heard of is the Frank Mots International Kite Festival. While it draws a cult following of kite enthusiasts from around the world, most people in Milwaukee don’t even know it exists. We aimed to changed that with a series of pro-bono posters. Using a minimalist concept with no words to tell the story, they aptly illustrate how one of life’s simplest pleasures can capture the imagination of an entire city.
